I knew this speaker would not produce stereo sound, but it was worse than I had suspected. It sounds exactly like my iPhone speakers, just a little louder, a little more tinny and distorted. There is no volume control on the speaker. The cable connector does not fit the slim 1/8″ headphone jack. I’m not sure what I will use this super-compact speaker for. Save you money.

Speaker sound is pretty good considering the small size. The speaker is very easy to use

Useful for Amplifying an iPhone output — especially if you are somewhat deaf and need to hear a GPS navigation app.

For it’s size – TINY – this is a great little speaker; I can connect it to either my Zune HD 32 or Machspeed trio v430, pop the whole thing into a pocket and go about my chores without having to either have an earbud stuck in my ear or an inevitably bulky speaker case banging at my waist or strapped somewhere. The volume is more than adequate unless – for example – I’m riding the lawn tractor or something. The battery life so far seems to be great. It doesn’t have it’s own volume control but that doesn’t bother me and the only thing I don’t like about it is that it doesn’t have an off switch – plugging in the cable turns it ON. It would be more convenient to be able to leave the cable attached, but, that said, if I lose it I will be back online buying another one in a heartbeat! (In fact I’ll probably buy another one anyway, just so that I can keep one with each unit.)

What a sweet accessory! I love the versatility and ease of use. It works with my iPod touch, laptop and iRiver MP3. It’s very small so do not expect
JBL or Bose sound quality. But if you are looking for something portable, compact and versatility, this would be a great choice for you. In fact, I use it more with my laptop than with my iPod. For around $ 20, I am happy with my purchase.
